Obama Wins the Nobel Peace Prize
This morning at 6 AM Pacific time I heard the news that President Obama had been awarded the Peace Prize by the Norwegian Nobel Committee. This evening I received my laugh for the day. I am on Richard Viguerie's e-mail list. His latest foray into opinion jounalism had the following headline:
Richard Viguerie: Obama's Nobel Prize is the Norwegian Parliament's Attempt to Move U.S. Government Towards Socialism
I couldn't help laughing out loud. I looked up some population statistics. Norway's population is about 4,700,000, very nearly the same as Alabama's. A little country with a population about the same as Alabama's presumes to move the United States (about 350 million) toward socialism!
